Regulations

 
  1. Enrolment for private lessons and group courses requires a completed application form and deposit of €100 paid before the beginning of the term.  Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
    The rest of payment for the whole term must be paid by the end of the second week of the term.  Failure to pay the balance might lead to the loss of the student’s place on the course.  Parents are requested to give more than one choice of day and time to ensure speedy proceeding of the application.
    In the unlikely event that the school is unable to offer a place in any of your preferred choices, we will contact you and of course refund your deposit.
  2. Discounts:  Students simultaneously enrolled for private lessons receive a 50% discount off the fee for group courses (except Art Classes).  Discount 7% apply to the second and third additional private lessons taken by the same student or private lessons taken by other students from the same family.
  3. Timetable and Cancellation:  The school reserves the right to make changes to timetables of lessons/courses if necessary. All group courses take place subject to minimum / maximum numbers of pupils.  The school reserves the right to cancel any group course because of insufficient enrolment.  In such a case, all tuition fees will be refunded.
  4. Re-enrolment:  The full fee for the next term must be paid by the end of the current term in order to guarantee their place on the school timetable.
  5. Child safety:  To ensure your child safety please be sure to pick him/her up promptly after lesson/course time.  Children are under supervision during their lesson’s time only.
  6. Attendance policy:  Parents must ensure that their child attends regularly and on time for the lesson/course.  Payment must be made for all lessons/courses, whether taken or missed.  We ask the teacher to be notified in advance about student absence the student.  If the teacher is unable to give a lesson/class, the student will be given an option of taking a make-up lesson or the tuition fee for that lesson will be refunded.  Lessons falling on church feasts will be rescheduled to another day or the tuition fee for that lesson will be refunded.
  7. Photo release policy:  Sometimes we will be taking photographs of students in lessons, courses or concerts for possible use on our website or publications.  No compensation is provided to individuals appeared in the photographs.  Please let us know if you do not wish you or your child’s photograph to appear on our websites or publications.
  8. For some of the pre-instrumental classes one adult is required to attend with the child.  We would ask parents who accompanying children to take an active part in the classes but do not engage to conversation with other parent during the classes.  If child’s behaviour become difficult parents are requested to take the child quietly from the class until they calm down.
  9. Food or drinks are not permitted in the classroom.
  10. We would ask parents to comply with a code of behaviour in St Peter-St Paul Russian Orthodox Church premises and to be courteous and polite to clergy, parishioners, other parents and children, office and teaching staff at all times.  Parents who fail to comply may be asked to remove their child from the school.
